I've only now found that My book, "Rebecca" was made into a film in the 1940's directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
The screenshots I've seen have shown me exactly what I thought of various discriptions of the house, the drive... Its refreshing and has me toggoling between having the concept outside or inside..

a note of caution - don't get fixated on this book - after all, you're being asked to create your own concept art etc. for your own space. While Rebecca is wonderfully gothic and has that great house at its heart, give yourself some 'wriggle room'...
